Stroke 101

Stroke 101 is a 2 hour seminar sponsored by Heart and Stroke and presented by a Stroke RN. The purpose is to educate people who have had a stroke or TIA (mini-stroke). It describes stroke, and discusses ways to minimize risk factors and to reduce the chance of a recurrent stroke. It also discusses strategies for dealing with post-stroke issues and problems. Stroke 101 is held at the Parkinson Rec Centre in the Gala room every second Wednesday afternoon at 2:15 pm. To register, please call KGH Stroke Clinic at 250-980-1392.
