Kelowna Eating Disorders Outpatient Program

The Eating Disorders program offers a specialized outpatient multidisciplinary treatment service for resident youth and adults diagnosed with anorexia or bulimia nervosa

  • Includes group therapy, group education, family support, individual therapy, nutritional counselling, psychiatric consultation and/or consultations to health care providers
  • The program does not have a primary care practitioner (e.g. GP nor NP)

Referral protocol: physician
Referral criteria: Referrals for individuals under age 19 must be first submitted to Child and Youth Mental Health Intake who will refer to the Eating Disorders program as appropriate.

Referrals from paediatricians, general practice physicians or nurse practitioners are accepted.
