British Columbia Association of Lifeline Programs

Provides 24 hour home monitoring and personal emergency response to assist clients to maintain their independence and remain safe in their homes. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Take comfort in knowing that the personal call device (usually) worn as a pendant or bracelet can be used to call for help.  

 Lifeline services are offered anywhere in the Interior Health region, provided you have a telephone and a telephone jack.

How to apply: A wide variety of people use Lifeline, including those with physical challenges, older adults and patients with medical conditions.

Lifeline can be helpful if:

You are home alone on a frequent basis
You are at risk for falls
You use adaptive devices to assist you with walking
You are managing a medical condition
You would feel more comfortable knowing help was always available
